Privacy Policy
Mazkits ("we") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use the Mazkits macOS app and https://mazkits.com (the "Service"). Please read it before using the Service. Using the Service means you have read and agree to this policy. We may update it from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Purchase information: email address used to deliver a license key.
- Payment information: amount and payment status. We do not store full card numbers — card data is handled by our payment processor (see section 5).
- Support records: emails or feedback you send us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Website: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and similar server logs.
- License: license key, activation time, and a device identifier needed to bind one license to one Mac.
- App network use is limited to license activation, periodic license checks (default every 7 days), and optional update checks. File contents are never uploaded. Airplane mode in Settings can block license HTTPS; redaction still works locally.
2.3 Information that stays on your Mac
Your files never leave your Mac. Mazkits reads and redacts files locally. We cannot access that content.

We do not upload, store, or access the contents of files you process in Mazkits.

We may aggregate or de-identify data for operational statistics. Such data cannot identify you.
4. Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary cookies and collect standard access logs for security and content delivery.

We do not use Google Analytics or similar marketing trackers. You can control cookies in your browser. We do not operate a separate cookie preference center.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information, including "sale" as defined under laws such as the CCPA. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: hosting and payment processors, under confidentiality obligations. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant processor Waffo Pancake and is not stored on our servers.
- Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or a competent authority.
- Business transfers: if the project is merged or transferred, we will take reasonable steps so protection continues.
- With your consent: for other purposes only with your prior consent.
6. Security

- Access to purchase records is limited to providing the Service
If a security incident that affects your rights occurs, we will notify you as required by law within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, where feasible. Please keep your license key confidential and do not share it.

9. Notices
We only send service-necessary messages (license keys, billing, security, and policy updates). We do not send marketing emails.
10. International transfers
Our website host (Cloudflare) and payment processor (Waffo Pancake) may process data on servers outside mainland China. We only transfer what is needed to provide the Service and require processors to protect it appropriately.
11. Children
The Service is for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Third-party links
The Service may contain links to third parties (for example the payment checkout). This policy applies only to information we collect. We are not responsible for third-party practices; please read their policies before use.
13. Changes
For material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, where feasible, give at least 15 days' notice via this page or your purchase email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
